Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information the Adelaide Elite Underpinning website collects when you send an enquiry, how it is used, who sees it and how you can ask about it. Last updated 16 October 2026.

Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to the Adelaide Elite Underpinning website (adelaideeliteunderpinning.com) and the enquiry forms on it. It describes how personal information is handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, to the extent they apply.

If you have a question about this policy, use contact us and mark your message "privacy".

What Information We Collect

We collect only what you choose to send us, plus a small amount of technical data created when you visit.

  • Enquiry details: the name, email address, phone number and suburb you enter, and the description of what you have noticed in your building. If you send photos or other details in a later message, those are collected too.
  • Technical data: the site is delivered by a hosting provider, which may record standard server information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not use this data to identify you personally.
  • Anything else you choose to tell us: please avoid sending sensitive information such as health or financial details. An underpinning enquiry does not need them.

How We Use Your Information

Your details are used to deal with your enquiry. That means:

  • reading your message and deciding whether the job suits;
  • contacting you to arrange an inspection or to ask for more detail;
  • preparing a written quote and following up on it; and
  • keeping a record of the enquiry so the same questions are not asked twice.

We do not use your details for anything unrelated to your enquiry.

Who We Share It With

An enquiry sent through this site is passed to the underpinning business that handles the job, so it can contact you and quote. That business receives the details you submitted.

We also use service providers that help run the site and process the form, such as the website host and the tool that delivers form messages. They handle your information only to provide those services. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia.

We will disclose personal information where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use it. They record things such as the pages you view, how long you stay, your device and browser type, your approximate location and how you move around the page, and they may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. Clarity may also record anonymised session replays and heatmaps of clicks and scrolling. Form fields are not used to identify you, and please do not put sensitive details in the enquiry form. These tools are provided by Google and Microsoft, and the information they collect may be processed outside Australia under their own privacy policies.

We do not use this data for advertising tracking or to identify you personally. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, and you can use browser settings or the opt-out tools Google and Microsoft provide. Your browser may also store small files that the site needs to work, such as display preferences.

Keeping Your Information Safe

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including using providers that secure the connection between your browser and the site. No system is completely secure, so please keep what you send to what the enquiry needs.

Information is kept for as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry or as the law requires, and is then deleted or de-identified where that is practical.

Seeing or Correcting Your Information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Use contact us, say what you would like us to do and include the details you used in your enquiry, so we can find it. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, and we will tell you if we cannot agree to a request and why.

Complaints

If you think your personal information has been mishandled, tell us through the contact form and we will look into it. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and the current version is always the one on this page. See also the terms of use for the rules that apply to the site itself, or return to Home.
